A personal favourite though has to be a Breton tee, paired up with jeans and it's always a win. So I thought today I would go with this classic style and put together one of my favourite combinations of my Nine West Blue Breton with my Karen Millen skinny black jeans, anchor & crew necklace and Dr Martens shoes. It's simple, chic and perfect for a lunch out in the city.
There are a few other pieces I have in mind to add to my wardrobe this summer and that is a playsuit of some sort, a pair of dungarees, some ethical tees and I am tempted to try a wider jean or culottes. My main goal this year is to have a wardrobe that is cohesive, with most of the pieces working well together meaning lots of options and different outfits but with less clutter and more direction.
Are you trying to minimise your wardrobe and style and put together a capsule wardrobe? If so what are your summer staples and items you cannot live without?
The classic Breton! You really cant go wrong - definitely a capsule wardrobe staple.

This is such a simple style but looks fab and so chic! The top would be fab with a pleated skirt too! x
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely on you, and well done on finding a matching garage door! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love a breton! And although I find the idea of a capsule wardrobe really appealing I'm just not sure it's for me. Be interested to hear how you get on though!
ReplyDeleteLooks great. I am a big fan of a stripe - and also trying to reduce my wardrobe :)
ReplyDeleteStripes are the best! You can't go wrong with a breton - it's totally the grown-up uniform x
