Street Style Sunday - Birthday Giveaway

So today is my last day of being 30, for some reason personally that seems more poignant than when I actually turned 30 last year in France. It almost feels like a full cycle and looking back on all the adventures I have had in my life so far has been a wonderful thing, of course, there have been highs and lows but I have packed whole lotta fun and exploration into my life, something which I am very grateful for. Growing up in South Africa, coming over to the UK on my own, travelling, studying and even visiting one of the worlds most isolated islands by cargo ship...it's been a blast but the biggest adventure has got to be becoming a parent as it unpredictably means every day is different and you learn to love more than you thought capable. It's also made me proud of myself and my body which has brought two children into this world, 6 months on after having Baby G I am not back at my pre-pregnancy weight yet but you know what I am really happy with where I am, all the lumps, bumps and everything in between tell a story, a story I am happy to show.




So for my last outfit before turning 31 I am wearing this fun two-piece from Luxemme, Jacket from M&S and Ankle boots from Topshop with a vintage necklace.     As someone who saw 30 pass by a long time ago can I just say the best is yet to come. Honestly, each decade brings its own highs and lows but I have found more joys and fewer worries as I get older.
