Last month Baby G and I hopped over the border into England for an exciting little shindig with a few other bloggers at the stunning Harptree Court to learn more about the very stylish and unique luxury glamping holiday company that is Canopy & Stars and being already being fans of C&S I couldn't wait to hear more over a relaxed lunch in beautiful surroundings with friends.

Harptree itself is a stunning property located in the heart of Somerset only half an hour from Bristol, and it houses two C&S properties in the form of a luxury treehouse and beautiful yurt, as well beautiful B&B rooms in the actually Manor house. Surrounding by fields and nature its a perfect place to get away and it was a real treat to have a tour around the house with the owners who talked through the history of the place. We also enjoyed a relaxed midday stroll around the kitchen garden with an amazing variety of flowers, fruit and veg being grown in a mainly organic way.

During our time with the lovely Canopy & Stars team we got to try out the "Whats in your bag" quiz which asks you a few simple questions that helps match you up with a variety of properties they think would suit your personality and what you are looking for in a getaway - mine was "Off-grid Maharishi" which I think suits our adventurous attitude pretty well.

Like I said I was already a fan of C&S before coming along and learning more about them as they really offer something different with a true focus on connecting with nature, your surroundings and the great outdoors but also provides a beautiful place to lay your head, relax, recharge and get away from it all, something we will hopefully be doing soon as a family before all that festive Christmas mania descends on us.
