What a beautiful setting for a Christmas feast (image) |
Slowly we have found we are starting to let winter and the festive feeling into our homes and lives. I think by planning early this year I am hoping to avoid any stress that comes along with this wonderful time of the year. To me what sums up the run up to Christmas is finding a few quirky and unique stocking fillers, doing lots of crafts and baking with the little man and indulging in some yummy treats such as traditional shortbread and drinking hot chocolate or ground coffee under a cosy blanket.
The lovely people at Harvey Nichols sent over a Seasons Eatings hamper and it's been the perfect introduction to the festive season as it's not to over the top but contains all the comforts of the season in a beautiful woven basket. We cannot wait to try out the Brandy butter and the Marc De Champgane Chrsitmas pudding. I love the little luxury touches and this really would make a wonderful gift and is worth the £65 price tag as it also comes with a wonderful Red Wine, Darjeeling Tea, Ground Coffee, Scottish chocolate chip shortbread, Cranberry sauce, and mixed nuts.
Love the sound of that Christmas pudding! I've always liked the Harvey Nicols food packaging too :)
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE hampers. I remember about seven years ago a company I had done some work for sent me a surprise Christmas hamper and it was just about the BEST THING EVER.
