We have really been seizing the day lately, especially when it's been dry, which can be rare in these colder months. As long as we wrap up warm (the thermals are starting to come out) than we are ready to go and explore. I always try and pack some snacks and a sandwich as sometimes we can be out quite long and eating out can really add up on what is a pretty frugal activity. This week we have had three great mini adventures and I thought I would my favourite one with you.
We visited one of our favourite parks in Pontcanna this week where Mr A enjoyed riding out on his bike and the climbing everything in the adventure playground, plus finding sticks and twigs for a Christmas Craft that we have planned for next week. We also decided to treat ourselves to a slice each of freshly oven baked pizza in the park to warm us up. I also picked up this really cute Boden gilet for the little man in their recent sale and it's so lovely and warm I want an adult version.
It also gave us a chance to put the Vita Coco Coconut juice pouches for kids to the test as coconut water is a great way to keep hydrated and as most people know it's really good for you! These have no added sugar, sweeteners or artificial preservatives and only contain natural fruit flavours as well as naturally occurring potassium to help keep little ones energised, focused and hydrated. Mr A is pretty fussy and usually opts for things like water or very diluted apple juice but these went down a treat and I am really happy to be able to offer my readers the chance to win a whole months supply! In other words 96 pouches of Coconut goodness in two different flavours - Apple & Blackcurrant and Mango & Pineapple.
