This enhanced cream tea was amazing |
What was the main highlight though was meeting up with friends and new faces and basically having a chat over some loose leaf tea. The group was really diverse and it was wonderful sharing stories and putting faces to blogs. The lovely people at Argos also collaborated with the event and together we brought in toys to donate to Banardos which was wonderful as it's always great to get involved with a charity. After the cream tea some of us headed off to have a little stroll in the Arcades before heading home. It was such a nice and relaxed day and I hope we have a few more of these meets in the new year.
I also want to say a huge thank-you to our event sponsors who without them we would not have been able to put together such a amazing goody bags for the lucky attendees, they were all so amazing, I am over the moon with my little MP3 player. A shoutout to Argos, Green People, Miss Patisserie, Move Dancewear, Fever London, M&S, Crabtree, St Kitts Herbery, Discount Coffee and By Kirsty
Such lovely goodies from our sponsors |
sounds great, love a high tea (although you always end up with way more that you can eat and jeans that are a bit tight!)
ReplyDeleteHaha yes indeed - although they had the amount just right this time - not too much but just enough
