I love this wooden ladder storage (image) |
We have been undertaking a few home project at the moment and have been revamping and up cycling certain pieces of furniture and have been meaning to get around to the bathroom. We have been doing some work on it and recently laid some new floor tiles, re-painted the walls and wood panelling on the bath and still need to replace the bath screen, paint the wooden chair and do a few bits and bobs but I also want to add some innovative bathroom storage. Something fun and a little bit different but still fits in with our little bathroom in the eaves.
Newly tiled bathroom floor |
I do have a bathroom cupboard which I plan to striped and repaint in the next few weeks but could still do with a little extra storage, especially since I have been investing more in skincare lately as well as picking up a few pieces of makeup and think these mason jar storage holders are amazing.
I have also been thinking of something a little different to store the toilet roll in and came across this cute wooden crate and think it's such a simple and chic idea and an easy way to bring in a touch of vintage as well as up cycling into the bathroom.
While we are on the topic of bathrooms and skincare, John and Mr A have been suffering a little with dry skin of late, I think it may have something to go with the change in the seasons. John has always been prone to dry skin and after being sent some E45 Moisturising lotion for daily use and Intense recovery lotion when things get a little worst, both are suitable for children and he has really seen some improvements. The wonderful people at E45 have sent over 3 sets of the Daily Moisturising Lotion and Intensive Recovery Lotion for readers to win.
