A beautiful chaise from Alison at Home |
Both our home and our daily fashion speak a lot about who we are, they don't fully define us but they are apart of the makeup that makes us unique. Everyone has their own sense of style and taste and that is what makes interiors and fashion so much fun. I love seeing with trends on the catwalk crossover into the home, such as the current grey and pink shades so apparent in the Ellie Saab show and now seen on throws, chairs, vases and everything in between. By pairing it up with neutral or darker palettes means is prevents it from being to sugary, such as the beautiful grey Chaise from Alison at Home above with a pop of colour from the pillows and natural light coming in from the window keeps everything balanced.
Diamond Cut Vases are a easy and cheap way to bring in some angular designs to a room |
Another look that has crossed over from Fashion Week is the angular and Geometric style of which Oscar Carvallo's is such a fan. You don't even have to make any big changes instead just going from a statement mirror or interesting vase to help creative some pattern and depth into a room.
