So for the past few days we have been enjoying the local delights of Brussels in Belgium after having a quick little holiday via the Eurostar to this rather underrated European city. It was a lovely four days which we cannot wait to share with you but for now here is a little taster....
We have an early morning start from our home in Wales, we arrived in London a little bit nervous about how the underground stokes would affect us but we managed to get to St Pancreas on time (with 5min to spare). It was lovely than to have a smooth 2 hour journey on the Eurostar and spend a warm evening walking around Brussels Grand Place, as well as staying in an amazing hotel - The Dominican (review to follow, highly recommended!) and enjoy breakfast in amazing surroundings.
Great to hear that you wasn't too affected by the tube strikes...must have been stressful. Brussels looks beautiful, hope that you are all having a lovely time.
