There really is something wonderful about a sea and of fallen autumn leaves, I love how they crunch under my feet and besides summer is one of my favourite parts of the year, there is so much change in natural and it's wonderful to share it with the little man.
After we had a really good run around in the park we made out way to Winter Wonderland, I was not sure what would be suitable for the little man but if anything we would at least have a nice hit chocolate to warm up at one of the german inspired Christmas market stands.
Mr A couldn't wait and ran pretty much all the way to winter wonderland. As John was not with us and Mr A has never been ice-skating before we held back on that until we can came again in a few weeks as a family and take him ice-skating together, but he was still fascinated watching the skaters, as well as all the Christmas decorations.
There was also a slower Santa train which Mr A went on his own, at first he was not too sure but as he was sitting on a tractor, I told him to pretend he was driving it and his fears were dispelled. Overall we had a lovely break from the new house and a lovely outdoor adventure in the city.
I have joined this post with Coombe Mills Country Kids linky - a great linky for families who like to spend time outdoors
