Very yummy crepes and amazing coffee |
After breakfast we headed over to Covent Garden to have a look through the market, I was on the lookout for a vintage pair of shades but unfortunately didn't find any that fit although we did pop into Fred Perry, where I managed to pick up a really cute dungaree skirt, perfect for summer, we also picked up a little London Taxi from the Transport Museum for Mr A, as he loves to ride in taxi's when he comes to London with us. I know it's really cliche but I love watching the street performers in Covent Garden and I wish there was somewhere like that in Cardiff, I mean we have street performers but not at this level. We also saw the biggest Paella pan - now that takes cooking on mass to a new level.

As we were going to be doing quite a bit of walking and shopping we both decided to have a bit of a denim day, it's not only stylish but also practical and I love my Ralph Lauren Chambray so any excuse to wear it is always good, as well as putting my new Asos boots through there paces, and being a mother I don't often get to wear high heels, as I spend most of my time running after a very active little man most day, so it was nice for a change.

After we had a bite to eat and somethign to drink we headed to New Bond street to visit the Ralph Lauren Flagship store - a must for both John and I, the last time we visited the store was a long time ago and you really want to take your time over the four floors to take it all in. John instantly fell in love with the RL bathrobe and bath sets and I love the kitchen and home wear section, plus of course the amazing shoes and bags. John picked up a new shirt for summer and some boxers and we also had a look at the Create Your Own Polo service - which is amazing - especially for your other half to design there own look, finish and personalised Polo. They offer the mens polo service in store and Mens and children's online, a great idea of presents and special events
We love the idea of creating your own polo! |
