I went for a sort of high street style with a TopShop denim jacket, Next white tee, thrifted River Island skinny jeans, Collection by Debenhams Bag, Joe Browns ring and HM wedge shoes.
I opted for wedges this time as at every other meet or event I am often the shortest so I just wanted to add a little bit of height and they are comfy so even though it was quite a long day I didn't have any problems being on my feet most of the time. The meet started at The Brewhouse - formally the Rock Hard Cafe and it was really nice to see new life coming into this great building. They had some great deals on cocktails - I went for the Cucumber crush - so yummy and they had the Lush Ladies there providing some very nice hand massaged and face packs. We all had a little bite to eat - I went for the Pumpkin and Spinach salad which was very good.
After the food, chat and cocktails we headed over to Crabtree and Evelyn to have a little look at their current range of products and for some demo's and pamper treats and then Me and Georgina from Makeup Pixi3 had a little look around TK MAXX. After some shopping we met back up with the rest of the bloggers for the St Davids Fashion show which happened to be running on the same day as the meet - bonus! Here are a few of my favourite looks from the show...
Colourful mens wear on show. |
Love these Vivienne westwood socks - worn by stylist JP |
We were also given amazing goodies bags packed with tones of lovely stuff, which I cannot wait to try out. The highlight of it was the Ollie and Nic purse and Birchbox which had a lovely Weleda and Natio samples - two of my favourite natural and ethical brands. The googie bags also had a Benefit beyond mascara and Elemis shower cream which I cannot wait to try and some lovely little Thomas Sabo scents and lip gloss.
A little glimpse of some of the things in our amazing Goodie bags |
Inside the bags were also some little cross earrings made by Cardiff Blogger Jenny from The Pulse of Fashion - love them
