So I was set the challenge of finding some key autumn accessories for under £25 and couldn't wait to search out some cute pieces for one of my favourite seasons of the year. Being a busy mum means I cannot always get into the city or high street and with accessories I like to feel and touch them, something you can't do online, so I thought I would check what my local Sainsbury's had in stock as I have always been pleasantly surprised with their clothing and as supermarkets go I feel it is one of the best in terms of quality and affordability and I love how they pair up with stylists such as Gok Wan to make one off collections. It also means I can fit in a little bit if retail therapy while doing the food shop, so it's a win win all round.
My finds, all for under £25 |
After having a real good look through all there new AW clothing and accessories, I picked up a lovely tan bag, a scarf with a very cute bicycle print and some super cute knitted gloves, coming to a total of £21.50 and not only are they practical but also on trend and are in my mind are lovely pieces that will last throughout the autumn/winter season.
A casual Autumn look - wearing a Juniper jacket, Forever tee, Next jeans, Urban outfitter brogues |
I love the pop of colour from the blue scarf and shades of brown within this outfit. One of my favourite things about this season is layering and putting together outfits that of full of different textures and patterns. The bag pairs up well with my corduroy jacket and this is a nice and casual outfit that is also practical for running around after a toddler.
Wearing - HM boots and Jacket, Forever tee, RT denim skirt |
I also wanted to pick pieces that are versatile and can be paired with a variety of looks and outfits, I think when picking key pieces you need to go with something that is classic but also unique and reflects your personality like I love the vintage feel to the bag and cosy feel of the mittens. I wanted to show off too completely different outfits to showcase this and feel that pieces I picked are perfect for both being dressed up or down and evening for a night out.
I love this bag and mittens |
